Know the Secret to Good Health? Mother-Son Business Team Says it's in the Bracelets

San Francisco, CA, July 27, 2001—With keen optimism in the face of the dot-com downturn, the mother-son business team of Avis and Adam Morenberg have launched Nature's Bracelets, an online store selling Q-Ray Ionized Bracelets. While many online retailers are closing their doors in bankruptcy, Nature's Bracelets is excited to be opening theirs. "I think we'll succeed for two reasons," said Adam Morenberg, who is responsible for developing and promoting the Web site. "One, we offer a great product that people really love. And two, we're filling a niche market." Industry watchers like IDC and E-Commerce Times support such optimism, too. Recent reports point out that small online businesses are successful when they have their own unique product offerings, not to be found in the superstore retailers like Amazon.com. "The profitable companies are the ones with a well-defined niche that didn't have to go out and spend millions to get customers to come to them," Internet researcher Harry Wolhandler told the Times.

Q-Ray Ionized Bracelets reduce pain and improve sports performance and overall health by balancing your body's Yin and Yang, or negative and positive ions. If that sounds like the Chinese medical practice of acupuncture, it's because Q-Ray works very much the same way. When your body's energy is in balance, good health follows, Avis Morenberg said. "I know to a lot of people, the technology sounds kooky, but I've seen too many success stories first-hand to not believe in them. I wouldn't be selling Q-Ray if I thought it was a rip-off or hurt people. I wear one myself," she said.

The Morenbergs aren't new to alternative medicine or online business. Before opening Nature's Bracelets, Avis worked in the healthcare industry for over 25 years, both for others and as an independent contractor, and Adam worked in Web development, delivering online solutions for businesses such as Cisco Systems, Charles Schwab, Handspring and AMD.
